What I Can do
-
My personal favourite stage of the sound workflow, using ProTools to encourage the endless creativity that comes with generating sounds for the needs of the project. Combining multiple unexpected sounds to manipulate the listening experience gives me the freedom to build unique sonic worlds that enhance tone, atmosphere, and emotion.
-
I record and edit ADR and Foley to bring clarity and realism to performances, adapting to the needs of each project. Whether it’s syncing dialogue or crafting movement and texture through Foley, I enjoy building natural, detailed sound that sits seamlessly within the world of the film.
-
I capture clean and reliable audio on set, adapting to different environments and challenges as they arise. I prioritise clarity and consistency while working closely with the wider production team. On smaller productions, I’m comfortable boom operating while mixing dialogue simultaneously, and on larger shoots I’m comfortable focusing on mixing using a MixPre recorder and similar devices.
-
I can clean, organise, and refine dialogue tracks to ensure they are clear and consistent. This includes removing unwanted noise with plugins like RX, smoothing transitions, and preparing sessions with organised checkerboarding.
-
I mix and master audio in Pro Tools, bringing together dialogue, sound design, and music into a cohesive final track. I adapt my approach to suit each project, focusing on clarity and balance, and delivering stereo and 5.1 mixes to cinema and broadcast standards that translate well across different playback systems.
